Hot golden milk on a crisp fall day.

So I truly love comfort food that’s also healthy and nourishing. After coming across golden milk, aka turmeric milk, I became a champion for its goodness, in both taste and health. I love to drink it both hot and cold depending upon my mood.

I hope you enjoy the recipe and become a convert yourself. While I love chai tea, the black tea doesn’t always agree with my tummy. However, mixing in chai spices with the turmeric gives me the same yummy feeling without the caffeine affect on my stomach.

  1. Blend all ingredients in a powerful blender. I personally use Blendtec.
  2. For hot version - transfer to a pot and slowly warm on stove on low heat for 2 minutes
  3. For cold version - transfer to mason jars and place in fridge to chill. The milk holds well up to 4 days.
